Zhytomyr region continues sugar beet harvesting campaign.
According to the Department of Agri-Industrial Development and Economic Policy of Zhytomyr region, as of October 5, in all categories of farms sugar beets were harvested from the area of 520 hectares.
23.4 thousand tons of sweet roots were harvested with the average yield of 450 tons/ha. (Ukrsugar/Business World Magazine)
