Turkey’s Baykar is planning to build a factory in Ukraine to produce not only Bayraktar TB2 unmanned combat aerial vehicles but also new models, such as Bayraktar Akinci and Bayraktar Kizilelma.
The relevant statement was made by Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar in an interview with the “Come Back Alive” Foundation.
According to Bayraktar, his company sees Ukraine as a strategic partner, wants to make it a manufacturing base and has long-term plans regarding joint projects with Ukraine.
In particular, Baykar began to build a factory in Ukraine, research and manufacturing centers, to produce all the systems, not only fuselage but electronics, software, etc.
Bayraktar noted that the company already had a structure in Ukraine, a technical and engineering team providing support for Ukraine. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
