Poland’s average corporate gross monthly wage rose by 13% YoY, to PLN 6,554.87 (EUR 1,375) in June, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on July 20.
In monthly terms, the average wage rose by 2.4%.
Economists polled by PAP expected a 13.3% annual increase in the corporate wage in June and a 2.7% monthly growth.
June’s corporate employment increased by 2.2% YoY, to 6,496,700, and by 0.1% MoM.
The employment figures were in line with the economists’ expectations. (The First News/Business World Magazine)
