German budget airline Eurowings has expanded its Georgian operation by launching new Stuttgart-Tbilisi flights to Tbilisi International Airport, the United Airports of Georgia reports.
A subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group, the airline made the first connecting flight on July 20, transporting 155 passengers from the German city to the Georgian capital.
Its flights will be operated twice a week every Wednesday and Sunday, using the Airbus 320 jet. The price of tickets starts from EUR 129.99, as offered by the Eurowings official website.
Eurowings has been operating on the Georgian market since 2021 with the Dusseldorf-Tbilisi flights. Three airlines (Lufthansa, Condor and Eurowings) currently operate regular flights from Tbilisi International Airport to Germany, with four different destinations. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
