In the next three years, with the active work of government and business and sufficient attention to the region, Ukraine may triple its exports to Colombia. Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection Vladyslava Mahaletska made a relevant statement during her visit to Colombia.
According to her, the issues of export of Ukrainian poultry products, veterinary medicines, feed additives, confectionery, alcohol, beans, sunflower oil and oilseed meal were discussed during the meetings.
In addition, imports of coffee beans, fresh flowers, fruit, fish and seafood from Colombia to Ukraine were discussed.
“Colombia can become one of the trade hubs for Ukrainian goods. After all, this country has many free trade agreements with the countries of the region – within the Andean Community of Nations, with the Triangle countries, Chile. Ukrainian goods are still represented here very poorly despite the significant potential,” Mahaletska stressed. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
