Uzbekistan is planning to increase the volume of services 2-fold until 2023.
The government is intending to create an automated online information system “Business Indicator”, which, from July 1, will publish the rating of the level of development of the service sector in terms of regions of the country.
It also plans to evaluate the activities of the heads of the relevant organizations and mayors every six months. Those managers with positive indicators are to be encouraged, and those with unsatisfactory indicators, face disciplinary responsibility.
All business entities are to be granted the right to operate around the clock in strict compliance with the rules of public safety. (Uzreport/Business World Magazine)
