Uzbekistan has become the first CIS country to introduce mandatory labeling of beer. According to the State Tax Committee, on April 1, the production of labeled beer products was launched at the three largest beer factories, which occupied 76.9% of the market.
The implementation of the system is expected to benefit everyone. Manufacturers are to receive an effective mechanism for combating counterfeit products and be able to improve the efficiency of business processes.
