In 2020, the volume of loans provided by JSB Ukrgasbank to small and medium-sized businesses rose by 50% (or UAH 2.5 billion) and amounted to UAH 7.7 billion, the bank’s press service reported.
“Last year, Ukrgasbank paid special attention to lending to small and medium-sized businesses, which suffered the most from the pandemic and quarantine restrictions. During 2020, the volume of loans received by our SME clients increased by 50% (or UAH 2.5 billion) and amounted to UAH 7.7 billion. Moreover, 80% of loans are investment loans,” reads the report.
More than 71,000 small and medium-sized businesses have chosen Ukrgasbank as their reliable partner. In general, such a significant increase in the portfolio was due to the bank’s active participation in the government program “Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%” and new business lending programs. Currently, the bank’s portfolio of available loans exceeds UAH 1.5 billion, of which UAH 1 billion are investment loans. Last year, the bank also offered the market a program to support exporters and unsecured loans for energy efficiency. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
