Sugar refineries have produced 981,900 tons of sugar since the beginning of the sugar-making season, which started on September 5 with the launch of the Radekhiv sugar refinery.
This was reported by the press service of the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (NASU) Ukrtsukor.
“As of December 22, some 981,900 tons of sugar had been produced and 7.39 million tons of sugar beets had been processed,” it said.
According to the report, 30 sugar refineries are currently operating in Ukraine. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
