President Volodymyr Zelensky says airports could be built and repaired in all important points across the country within two to three years.
During his working visit to Poltava region, Zelensky said the effort would be part of the wider “Big Construction” project announced earlier.
The head of state noted that the Poltava Airport was out of service due to the poor state of the runway. Therefore, the president said, the reconstruction of both the runway and the terminal would begin as early as 2021, as well as work on other similar sites.
“We will definitely include Poltava Airport in the second part of our “Big Construction” program, where there will be airports in all important points of Ukraine. We will start building them in 2021. I’m sure, we’ll build all the airports we need in two to three years,” said Zelensky.
If the weather is favorable, the reconstruction of the Poltava Airport will have been completed by the end of 2021, Zelensky hopes. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
