Georgia’s external trade turnover amounted to $10.37 billion in January-October, up by 0.5% YoY, according to preliminary data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
The value of exports increased by 10.4% and reached $3.04 billion, while imports decreased by 3.1%, amounting to $7.33 billion.
The trade deficit of Georgia in January-October amounted to $4.3 billion, or 41.4% of total trade turnover.
In October the value of export was $316.5 million, while imports amounted to $848 million. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
