In January-September the traffic volumes of grains and by-products by rail in Ukraine increased by 23.8% YoY and totaled 28.4 million tons, reported the State Statistics Service.
As for the transportation volumes of chemical and mineral fertilizers, in the reporting period the figures increased by 27.8%, to 3.4 million tons.
In nine months the Ukrainian Railway (JSC Ukrzaliznytsia) transported 234.2 million tons of cargoes, down by 2.5%. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
