The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) purchased almost $900 million on the interbank foreign exchange market in January-April, the central bank’s press service reports.
“The net purchase of foreign currency by the National Bank on the interbank foreign exchange market amounted to about $900 million in January-April. At the same time, the official hryvnia exchange rate has been strengthened by 4% since the beginning of the year,” reads the report. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
