The French flag carrier Air France has made its inaugural flight from the capital of Paris, with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili being among its first passengers.
Air France will be carrying out regular flights between Paris and Tbilisi twice a week until October 23 with an Airbus A 320.
Negotiations between Air France and the operator company of Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports – TAV Georgia started in November 2018.
Nowadays Air France serves direct flights to 170 destinations. The company fleet includes 212 different types of aircrafts.
Air France is based in Charles De Gaulle airport operated by ADP Group (Airport de Paris), which is the main share-holder of TAV Airports. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
