Leading Georgian pharmacies have decided to decrease the price of anti-flu medicine Tamiflu, the cost of which formerly ranged in 72-99 GEL.
Aversi and PSP pharmacies have complied with the request to show solidarity with the public and make the medicine more affordable.
Aversi management says that the current price for the medicine is 68 GEL. The same price was named by PSP.
Head of PSP marketing department Tornike Guruli says that the pharmacy pays 67.26 GEL for the drug and will sell it for 68 GEL, “which means that we will gain no profit from the sale.”
Many Georgians have posted on social media these days that the price of Tamiflu was “too high”. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
