In January-October water transport of Ukraine carried 0.6 million passengers, up by 14.6% YoY.
According to State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, total passenger turnover in Ukraine fell by 4.2%, to 27.5 million passengers per kilometer.
At the same time water transport carried 4.7 million tons of cargo (-0.4%).
Cargo turnover fell by 20.8%, to 2,886.6 million ton-km.
All types of transport carried 516.1 million tons of cargo (-1.2%). (PortNews/Business World Magazine)
