Head of the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine Slawomir Nowak has said that UAH 20 billion will be allocated for the construction, reconstruction and repairs of highways of state importance next year.
“About UAH 20 billion will be allocated for the construction, reconstruction and repairs of state highways next year. The general program of road development is UAH 8.6 billion. Plus our priority project Go Highway! – UAH 4 billion,” said Nowak at a government meeting on November 21.
He also reported on special programs: the Odesa-Reni highway – UAH 1.5 billion, the Zaporizhzhia-Mariupol – UAH 1 billion, the Mykolaiv-Kropyvnytskyi highway – UAH 1 billion, the Merefa-Pavlohrad highway – UAH 1 billion, the Dnipro-Reshetylivka – UAH 2 billion, and the construction of a bypass route around the city of Rivne – UAH 200 million.
An additional financing of UAH 500 million will be directed to the Lviv investment project, Nowak said. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
