The State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine (SNRIU) has decided to extend the operating license of unit No. 4 of National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom’s Zaporizhia nuclear power plant (NPP) for another decade after its installed life is over.
The relevant decision was made by the SNRIU Board on October 11.
The SNRIU in 2017 decided to extend the operating licenses of units Nos. 1, 2, and 3 of Zaporizhia NPP. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
