Director General of Uzbekistan Airways Bakhtiyor Khakimov held talks with Senior Vice-President of the Korean Air Samsug Noh.
During the meeting the parties exchanged views on further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan Airways and Korean Air. In particular, the cooperation in passenger and cargo transportation was discussed.
Also, the heads of airlines considered the prospects for further cooperation in general and expressed their intention to consolidate mutual efforts for further development and strengthening of international air transportation between the two countries.
The history of cooperation between Uzbekistan Airways and Korean Air extends back for many years, during which the companies worked to expand partnership in development of new markets, development of logistics infrastructure in Uzbekistan, exchange of experience in management of civil aviation and training.
Together with Korean partners, a number of projects have been implemented, including the establishment of an international intermodal logistics center at the Navoi airport, which is one of the most high-tech cargo complexes in the region today and is designed to become a leading hub connecting Europe with Asia.
