Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko congratulated workers of the oil, gas and oil refining industry on their professional holiday on September 9.
The letter of congratulations was posted on the website of the head of state.
“I sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday. Increasing our own extraction of hydrocarbons and production of high-quality fuel, efficient use of transit opportunities is a guarantee of the energy independence of our state and powerful drivers of the national economy,” Poroshenko said.
He expressed confidence that persistent work and high professionalism would continue to serve the development of the domestic fuel and energy sector and the realization of its potential in the European space in the interests of Ukrainian and foreign energy consumers.
