Costs of construction and assembly services in Ukraine rose by 23.4% YoY in January-April.
Over the period under review, costs of construction and assembly of civil engineering facilities, as well as commercial buildings and complex industrial facilities increased the most – by 28.1% and by 23.8%, respectively. The lowest increase was recorded in the construction of pipelines, communications, and power lines, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Costs of construction and installation works in April alone grew by 1.2% compared to March 2018, whereas there was a 2% increase in March from February.
The State Statistics Service said the report did not include data from the temporarily occupied areas in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, as well as Russian-occupied Donbas in the east of Ukraine. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
