A delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylydjov, held talks in the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy of Germany, says a message of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The eighth meeting of the joint working group for trade and economic cooperation was held in Berlin.
The sides discussed expanding ties in such areas as energy, finance, health, agriculture, infrastructure and tourism.
The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan also organized a round table with participation of representatives of Germany and Turkmenistan in the Sofitel Berlin Kurfurstendamm hotel. The sides discussed boosting trade and economic cooperation.
German companies make a significant contribution to implementation of long-term projects in Turkmenistan. Among them are such companies as Siemens, Daimler, Claas, Rohde & Schwarz, and Dresser-Rand. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
