In January-February the number of passengers carried by Ukrainian airlines rose by 8.8% YoY, and the passenger traffic flow through Ukrainian airports increased by 19.3%, according to the State Aviation Service of Ukraine.
“In January-February the volume of passenger-carrying operations of Ukrainian airlines increased by 8.8% and totaled 1,344.4 thousand people. The volume of international passenger-carrying operations grew by 8.3% and totaled 1,197.4 people,” reads the report.
The passenger traffic flow through Ukrainian airports grew by 19.3% and totaled 2,325.4 thousand, and the number of passengers served on international flights grew by 20.2% and totaled 2,027.9 thousand people.
In January-February Ukrainian airlines operated 12.6 thousand commercial flights, up by 2.4% YoY. The number of international flights remained at the level of the previous year and totaled 10.3 thousand.
The number of passengers carried by Ukrainian airlines in January increased by 6.5% YoY. The passenger traffic flow through Ukrainian airports grew by 17.9%. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
