Ukraine’s large and medium-sized producers made 13.9 KMT of mayonnaise in December 2017, up by 12% MoM and YoY, when its production was at 12.4 KMT.
In the full 2017 year mayonnaise production gained 0.7% and amounted to 125.5 KMT against 124.6 KMT in 2016.
As a reminder, mayonnaise production has been staying at a stable 124-126 KMT since three years ago. This is a positive point, taking into account a previous decline in the product’s output from 183.5 KMT in 2007 to 126 KMT in 2015.
At the moment there are no significant drivers to push up Ukrainian mayonnaise production in the new year, therefore the market capacity will most likely continue ranging within 124-126 KMT. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
