Bank Pivdennyi (Odessa) in January-September posted a profit of UAH 58.385 million, up by 14.3% YoY (UAH 51.101 million).
According to a bank financial report posted on its website, its net interest income for the nine months amounted to UAH 721.308 million, up 2.7-fold YoY (UAH 271.020 million).
Excluding expenses for formation of reserves, its net interest income amounted to UAH 241.127 million, up 4.7-fold YoY (UAH 51.175 million).
The bank’s assets for the period increased by 5.6%, to UAH 21.824 billion, in particular loans and customers’ debts rose by 9.7%, to UAH 14.907 billion.
Charter capital grew by 26.4% and amounted to UAH 1.209 billion, net worth rose by 2.9%, to UAH 2.148 billion.
Bank Pivdennyi was founded in 1993.
The financial institution ranked 15th among 88 active banks as of July 1, 2017 in terms of total assets (UAH 20.525 billion), according to the National Bank of Ukraine. (Interfax-Ukraine/Business World Magazine)
