The Latvian airBaltic airline carried 393,312 passengers in July, up by 21% YoY. The number of passengers carried by airBaltic remains the highest it has ever been in the airline’s history.
In the first seven months airBaltic carried 1,958,774 passengers to destinations in Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.
airBaltic CEO Martin Gauss notes: “This summer has been successful and rich with challenges. The largest number of carried passengers in airBaltic’s history and growing income also show that our flights are nearly full. It means more challenge for our team for us to be able to continue providing clients with flights with some of the best punctuality indexes and great client service.”
In July, airBaltic performed 4,799 flights, up by 16% YoY. In the first seven months, airBaltic performed 28,260 flights.
Load factor in July reached 87.7%. In the first seven months, load factor in airBaltic aircraft was 76.2%, which is the highest index in the airline’s history.
The airline’s 15 punctuality index reached 83.5% in July. (BNN/Business World Magazine)
