Kazakhstan exported 314.2 KMT of wheat in June, down by 11.3% MoM, but up by 14.6% YoY.
Overall, this season’s wheat exports from Kazakhstan are slightly up (+3.8% YoY). The country shipped 3373 KMT of wheat to foreign markets from September 2016 till June 2017 against 3250 KMT at the same time in MY 2015-2016.
Growth of shipments is registered in almost all the end markets of Kazakh wheat. To date, wheat exports to Uzbekistan are already 6% higher than in the whole last season. Deliveries to Tajikistan almost reached last year’s level. Exports to Afghanistan are up by 18% YoY and those to the European Union (225 KMT) by 36%. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
