Ukraine’s large and medium-sized crushers produced 16.2 KMT of margarine in May. Although its May output shrank by 17.3% MoM, the margarine market continues to persistently recover this year. Production increased by more than 22% YoY (13.2 KMT).
Margarine output grew to over 90 KMT in the first five months of MY 2017. Thereby it exceeded the respective volumes of the previous two years: up by 30% against 2016, when margarine production hit a low of 69.6 KMT at the time, and up by 6.5% against 2015 (85 KMT).
