Both domestic and export prices of Ukrainian grains followed downward trends last week.
Export prices for Ukrainian milling wheat closed the week down on average by $1-2/MT FOB. Its prices were pressured both by the upcoming new crop and a trade slowdown in the season’s end.
Ukraine has already almost fully realized its wheat export capacity in the current season. According to the State Fiscal Service, this season’s exports of Ukrainian wheat totaled 16.55 MMT as of May 25. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
