According to the Statistics Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, farms of all types held 10.33 MMT of cereals and pulses as of April 1, up by 16.5% YoY (8.86 MMT).
Wheat inventories are up by 12.8%, at 8.65 MMT, including 6.75 MMT of milling wheat, 0.47 MMT of feed wheat and 1.43 MMT of wheat for seed.
As of the same date, barley stocks totaled 0.98 MMT, or 38.3% more than last year, while corn reserves amounted to 83 KMT, those of rice to 175 KMT, rye to 23 KMT, oats to 151 KMT, buckwheat to 41 KMT, and millet to 27 KMT. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
