Continuing investments in the renewal of its bus fleet, Ecolines has bought ten new buses using funding from Swedbank. The company has bought five Setra S431DT and five Man R08.
The new buses will be used for runs to Western Europe, Baltic States and internal runs within Latvia.
All buses are fitted with ergonomic seats. Passengers are also provided with free Wi-Fi, representatives of the company say. “Buses used for runs in Baltic States and Western Europe are also fitted with multimedia monitors with wide entertainment offers – passengers will be able to spend time watching films, listening to music, looking for content on the Internet and playing games.”
Ecolines Norma-A chairman Andris Podgornijs explains that the bus fleet is renewed every year.
Since 2014, Ecolines has bought 31 new buses worth EUR 12 million. Investments in renewal of the bus fleet will be performed in the future as well. (BNN/Business World Magazine)
