Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has increased the total estimated cost of construction of the 750 kV Rivne nuclear power plant (NPP)-Kyivska substation power line by 20% or by UAH 970.443 million, to UAH 5.818 billion.
The decision is outlined in government resolution No. 132-r dated March 1.
According to the document, the estimated cost of construction and assembly works increased by 17.9% or by UAH 505.528 million, to UAH 3.325 billion, and the cost of equipment increased by 17.4% or by UAH 112.65 million, to UAH 760.825 million.
As reported, the power line is being built to transmit electricity generated by Rivne and Khmelnytsky NPPs to central Ukraine. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
