Ukraine since the beginning of the 2016/2017 marketing year (July-June) and as of March 7, exported 29.91 million tons of grain.
According to the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food, the country exported about 13.69 million tons of wheat, 4.67 million tons of barley and 11.37 million tons of corn.
In addition, 265,100 tons of flour were exported.
As reported, with reference to the ministry, Ukraine in the 2015/2016 MY (July-June) exported 39.487 million tons of grain, up by 13.5% YoY.
According to the forecasts of the ministry, grain exports in the 2016/2017 MY could reach about 40 million tons. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
