In January retail trade turnover in Ukraine increased by 3% YoY, the Ukrainian State Statistics Service reports.
“In January retail trade turnover increased by 3.1% YoY, but dropped by 16.4% MoM,” the report states.
The highest increase in retail trade turnover was recorded in Sumy region (9.7%), Kirovohrad region (8.6%), Vinnytsia region (7.7%), the city of Kyiv (7.7%), Mykolaiv region (7.5%) and Kyiv region (6.7%).
A considerable decrease in retail trade turnover was recorded in Zaporizhzhia region (4%), Rivne region (2.2%), Dnipropetrovsk region (2%) and Chernivtsi region (1.8%).
According to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service, the data on retail trade turnover in January cover all regions of Ukraine, excluding the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol and parts of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone.
