In the current MY wheat production in Kazakhstan will reach 17 million tons, the International Grains Council (IGC) reported.
In particular, the beginning stocks of wheat in the country are estimated at 2.5 million tons, up by 0.1 million tons YoY.
The total supply will reach 19.6 million tons, as opposed to 15.1 million tons in 2015/2016 MY.
In addition, the export potential of wheat in 2016/2017 MY may reache 8.9 million tons, against 7.3 million tons supplied to foreign markets in the previous season.
