In the current season of 2016/2017 Kazakh exporters continued building up wheat bran shipments to foreign markets.
Kazakhstan exported 60.6 KMT of wheat bran in the first three months of the season (September-November 2016), up by 66% YoY (36.5 KMT).
Uzbekistan remains the key importer of Kazakh wheat bran – the country absorbed over 78% of its total exports at the time. Another major importer is Turkey, the export share of which approximates 15%. Having resumed wheat bran supplies from Kazakhstan in October 2016, China accounts for 2.4% of total exports of this product. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
