Kazakh wheat bran exports exceeded 180 KMT in 2015/2016: they totaled 181.6 KMT, or up by 31.6% YoY.
In the beginning of the new season 2016/2017, Kazakh exporters continued stepping up wheat bran deliveries to foreign markets. So, Kazakhstan exported as much as 43.4 KMT of wheat bran in the first two months of the season (September-October), up by 39.5% YoY.
Uzbekistan is still the top importer of Kazakh wheat bran with the share of 87%. It is followed by Turkey with over 9%.
Deliveries of Kazakh wheat bran to China were resumed in October. In addition, exporters started shipments to Tajikistan’s market. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
