Kazakh National Bank will issue a commemorative banknote with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, said the message from the bank.
The 10,000-tenge banknote will be issued by the Day of the First President on December 1.
“The history of Kazakhstan’s Independence is inextricably linked with the personality of the head of state”, National Bank’s head Daniyar Akishev said. “Therefore, the National Bank presents a commemorative banknote dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence which reflects the president’s contribution to the country’s development”.
He noted that the design of the first Kazakhstan’s banknotes was defined by Nazarbayev in 1993 and this had been an exclusive right of the head of state since that time. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
