In 2016 Kazakhstan will increase the volume of investments to the agro-industrial complex by 56%, the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuandyk Bishimbayev declared.
The volume of agricultural production increased by 4.9%, including plant-growing products – by 12%, livestock products – by 2.3%. Stable results in the agricultural industry were caused by significant growth of investments in agribusiness by 56% at the expense of doubling of state aid to investment grants – from 6.1 billion KZT in 2015, to 12.7 billion KZT in 2016, Bishimbayev said.
