In the current year, Ukraine has already filled all major quotas for duty-free exports of agricultural products to the European Union, except for meat products, the Director of the department of international cooperation at the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Alexander Romanovsky declared.
According to him, Ukraine has already settled the quotas for honey, oats, sugar, groats, malt, processed tomatoes, grape and apple juices, chicken, wheat and corn. Also, Ukraine has almost completely filled the quotas for barley.
At the same time, Ukraine still has some unexhausted quotas for meat products and some other non-essential product groups (mushrooms, garlic, etc.), due to difficulties with certification procedures. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
