Customs duties on the export of hides will be introduced in Azerbaijan for 5 years, according to the decision of the country’s Cabinet of Ministers published in the Azerbaijani official press.
The changes, in particular, will affect the export of cattle hides, raw hides of sheep and lambs, including fresh, salted or dried hides.
In accordance with the changes to the Cabinet’s decision “On rates of customs duties regarding export-import operations in Azerbaijan”, the new customs duties on the export of furs will range from $150 to $500 per 1,000 kilograms.
The amendments will come into effect on November 7. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
