Czech Republic’s PPF Group NV and Staroak Limited plan to sell up to 26 million common shares, or 6% in the charter capital of the Russian precious metals producer Polymetal International via accelerated book building, Morgan Stanley, one of the possible organizers of the deal, said in a statement.
The book building was to start after the statement’s publication. Polymetal’s shareholder ICT Holding Ltd, controlled by Russian tycoon Alexander Nesis and his partners, has already filed a bid for participation in the stake’s placement on the market, Morgan Stanley said.
Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley will act as the placement’s organizers. (Prime/Business World Magazine)
