In January-August Ukrainian seaports processed 23.62 million tons of grain cargoes (including 23.11 million tons of grains), up by 5.8% YoY. In particular, grain exports totaled 23.1 million tons (up by 5.7%), the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority declared.
State stevedoring companies processed 1.67 million tons of grains at the berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (down by 30.5% YoY), private stevedoring companies at the berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority processed 12.83 million tons (up by 26.8%), and stevedoring companies at their own berths – 9.11 million tons (down by 7%).
Mykolaiv Sea Trade Port processed 5.62 million tons of grain cargoes, up by 4.2% YoY. Odessa Sea Commercial Port transshipped 5.19 million tons of grain cargoes (up by 2.8%), Sea Commercial Port of Ilyichivsk – 4.66 million tons (up by 49.9%), Commercial Port of Yuzhnyi – 4.6 million tons (down by 22%), Oktiabrsk Port – 1.24 million tons (down by 3.4%), Kherson Port – 829.32 thousand tons (up by 61.4%), Berdiansk Port – 621.2 thousand tons (up by 6.6%), Mariupol Port – 521.16 thousand tons (up by 143.6%), Reni Port – 206.48 thousand tons (up by 15.1%), and Izmail Port – 103.12 thousand tons (up by 31.7%).
