Natural gas production in Ukraine in January through August grew by 1.6%, or 211.4 million cubic metersYoY, to 13.379 billion cubic meters.
Gas production in August alone was 1.684 bcm, up by 0.1% YoY (1.682 bcm), PJSC Ukrtransgaz reported.
In particular, PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia produced 1.212 bcm of gas, PJSC Ukrnafta’s output was 107.8 mcm, and other companies produced 364 mcm in August.
In 2015 Ukraine decreased gas output by 1.4% YoY, or by 274 mcm, to 19.896 bcm. The enterprises incorporated into NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy saw a 4.9% decline in production by 823 mcm, to 16.032 bcm, while other companies boosted output by 16.6%, or 549 mcm, to 3.864 bcm.
