According to the regional agricultural departments, as of September 1, Kazakh agrarians harvested grains throughout 3.263 million ha, or 21.3% of the planned areas, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan declared.
As of the reporting date, agrarians produced 5.1 million tons of grains, up 2 times YoY. The average yield totaled 1.56 ton/ha (up by 0.25 ton/ha).
In particular, agrarians of Almaty region harvested 651.9 thousand tons of grains, West Kazakhstan region – 276.9 thousand tons, Jambyl region – 584.6 thousand tons, Kyzylorda region – 31.5 thousand tons, South Kazakhstan region – 419.2 thousand tons, East Kazakhstan region – 403.7 thousand tons, Pavlodar region – 170.9 thousand tons, Aktobe region – 192.9 thousand tons, Karaganda region – 71.8 thousand tons, Kostanay region – 523 thousand tons, North Kazakhstan region – 1.438 thousand tons, and Akmola region – 333.7 thousand tons.
