The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation proposes to zero down the export duties on wheat from September 15, the draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation “On Amendments to the rates of export customs duties on goods exported from the Russian Federation outside the member-states of the Customs Union” says.
The project is at the stage of independent anti-corruption expertise.
The draft decree covers all legal relations arising on or after September 15, and shall apply until July 1, 2018.
The explanatory note to the draft decree informed that in order to change the bearish trend on the domestic grain market and activate the export supplies through reducing the risks of long-term contracting, it was necessary to establish the zero rate of customs duty on wheat exports until July 1, 2018.
