In June soybean exports from Ukraine reached 236.9 KMT against 170.6 KMT in June 2015. During the current season 2015/2016 (September-June) Ukraine supplied 2178.4 KMT of soybean to foreign markets, decreasing the spread lag compared to previous season to 3.7%.
Taking into account stable exports during the last four months, it’s very likely that the current season will finish with a new record of soybean exports. The largest exports reached 2421.8 KMT in season 2014/205.
Key importers of soybean from Ukraine during all the season remain the same. For example, almost 39% of all exports were supplied to Turkey; more than 24% were shipped to Egypt, 13% – to the EU countries, almost 9% – to Iran. Ukrainian soybean was exported to India, Libya and Latvia for the first time in this season. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
