In 2016 the general harvest of grains in Ukraine will reach 63 million tons, up by 5% YoY, the deputy director of the department of farming and technical policy in the agro-industrial complex at the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food Leonid Suhomlyn declared.
He noted that the harvesting campaign of early grains and pulses reached the result at 38 million tons.
The general harvest volumes and the final supply and demand balances will form after the end of corn harvesting campaign. The Ministry expects the figure at 26 million tons, Suhomlyn said. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
