The TOP-3 of companies-leaders in wheat exports remains unchanged and includes the following: Nibulon Ltd, PJSC State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine, and Cargill AT, which jointly supplied more than 20% of the annual export volumes (nearly 3.5 million tons) to the global market. The TOP-10 of wheat exporters shipped more than 6.5 million tons of the grain, or 40% of the whole export volumes of wheat from Ukraine.
In 2015/2016 MY Ukraine supplied 17 million tons of wheat on foreign markets. Analysts estimate the export potential of wheat in the season-2016/2017 at 12.3 million tons.
The rating of barley companies-exporters is somewhat different, and the TOP-3 includes the following companies: PJSC SFGCU, LLC Granum Invest, and Nibulon Ltd, with the joint share of barley exports at 32% (more than 1.4 million tons). The TOP-10 of barley exporters from Ukraine supplied 2.3 million tons of the grain (52%) to foreign markets. In 2015/2016 MY Ukraine exported 4.4 million tons of barley. Analysts estimate the export potential of Ukrainian barley in the season-2016/2017 at 4.2 million tons. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
