Measures undertaken in the country to strengthen the financial stability of commercial banks have a positive effect on their assessment by international rating agencies in terms of creditworthiness.
In particular, the implementation of effective banking supervision on the basis of international standards, constant monitoring of quality of assets and liquidity of banks have allowed domestic banks to receive positive ratings from leading international rating agencies. Joint-stock commercial bank “Turonbank” hereby is no exception.
This year, the international rating Agency Standard & Poor’s has confirmed the credit rating of “Turonbank” with “Stable” Outlook.
“Since the first years of independence, the bank has been actively involved in the development of the financial market of the country, providing customers with a wide range of quality banking services”, the Director of the Department for risk management and strategic development Jamshid Mirzayev said.
A high rating assigned to the bank confirms the stability of its financial results, effectiveness of management, adequacy of capitalization, continuous improvement of quality, development and strengthening of the status of a reliable bank. (Uzreport/Business World Magazine)
